Welcome to LCWBC !
Just like you, we love playing badminton and are passionate about badminton. If you are in London, why not come and join us for regular games of badminton. Keep fit with badminton! It is also a good way to meet new friends and have fun. We offer badminton sessions open for players to come and play every week across several venues in London. We also take pride in our badminton coaching and training sessions.
London Canary Wharf Badminton Club, also known as LCWBC, was founded in 2009 by Brian Ng, a Malaysian-born badminton player and experienced coach. The club has been going from strength to strength, attracting players from all around the world who are living in or visiting London.
We use good quality feather shuttlecocks. We welcome all badminton players regardless of levels - whether you are an advanced player or just a beginner. Our badminton sessions are on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays - all sessions are in London, across Canary Wharf/Isle of Dogs, Greenwich, Rotherhithe/Canada Water and Bexleyheath.

If you would like to come and play with us, please book your place on Playwaze as pre-booking is mandatory. It is FREE to sign up Playwaze. We limit the number of people attending to ensure no overcrowding. We support members who are keen to learn and improve. Dedicated badminton coaching and training sessions are provided. One-to-one coaching and pair/double/two-people coaching are also available upon demand. Please contact Brian Ng for more information. Our aim is to make everyone enjoy badminton, playing competitive games but in a social and relaxing environment. We have our own badminton tournament every year.

In 2018, we started junior badminton sessions for children aged 8-18. Please go to LCWBC Junior Badminton Facebook group to find out more about our junior badminton club.
Brian Ng, who lives in Bexleyheath, is the Badminton Team Manager/Coach for London Borough of Bexley at the annual London Youth Games. Junior players aged 9-18 who lives in Bexley or attends school in Bexley are welcome to join the Bexley Team.
